The Clapham Trainwash
I've been trying to get a good shot of this building every morning from the window of my train. And failing. Here are my best efforts: blurred, over or under exposed and so on. The building is a train-wash between Clapham Junction and Queenstown Road. What gets me is its ordinary industrial shed exterior contrasting with its interior - which looks altogether much stranger, like a cave made out of giant feathers. One might wonder what else might lurk inside those corrugated steel light industrial units along the railway. All those buildings that look generic and utilitarian on the outside might well hold more mysterious interiors. Perhaps plans like a cathedral Or sections like the Great Pyramid. might do.
